Here we go again!!!
Another pet food recall:
Here is the link to the article I read--
http://www.click2houston.com/family/12264152/detail.html?rss=hou&psp=new...
Although the article states it is not related to the other recall, Natural Balance is recalling certain products after "reports of animals vomiting and experiencing kidney problems."
The article states "The recall includes all date codes of Venison and Brown Rice Dry Dog Food and Venison and Green Pea Dry Cat Food. The company doesn't know the cause of the problem, but said it is focused on one particular lot."
"Natural Balance Pet Foods said it is working with the FDA to investigate the matter and is urging consumers to not feed either product to their animals."

first dog/cat food, then dog/cat treats and now this. its really hard to be a pet owner now with all this stuff going on. its hard enough to decide what is good enough for your animal then when you think you pick the best or atleast good enough, this happens. thanks lisa for the heads up.
1lucky i COOK my own pet food for my dog.
2brown rice stew with beef, carrots and rosemary. rosemary is good for skin, and also it adds flavor to the stew.
Wow this is awful. I am so glad I don't have any pets anymore.
3Ack! This is dry food this time around!?!?!
4I almost bought this brand after the other recall. Thank goodness I did not. I was looking for something all natural with no by products. I ended up buying Castor and Pollux (sp) for the cats and Natures Recipe for the dogs. Hopefully no more brands will have problems.
5DAmmit!!!
6What the HELL?!?! I use the duck and potato flavor, but now I'm gonna have to buy Royal Canan or something. Bullsh*t I'm not feeding my dogs any brand associated with kidney failure!
7The venison has always made Auggie throw up like crazy anyway, so if I would never know the difference if he got sick from it. The vet said lamb and venison are too oily. I'm definitely going to keep up on this recall. I swear by this brand. Thanks for posting this, LisaK.
